In this review, researchers from Mexico summarized evidence of plant extracts and their active components accelerating wound closure and tissue repair. This article was published in the Journal of Medicinal Food.
The researchers believe that the active components of these plants have the potential to be developed as natural agents that can accelerate wound closure and tissue repair.
